He is survived by: his son Douglas Slattery (Marissa) of Nehawka, NE; and his siblings, Susan Herbert of Omaha, NE, Patricia Fernandez (Carlos Sr.) of Flower Mound, TX and Mike Slattery (Barb) of Nehawka, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
