With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Gifford (Paxton, Nebraska), who passed away on April 13, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray and Clara; his sister Evelyn Gentner; his brother-in-law Walt Gentner; his brothers, Bus Gifford, Jim Gifford, John Gifford and Eben Gifford; his sister-in-law Peggy Gifford; and his father-in-law Fred Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn, Cynthia, Jerri Morris (Jim) of Holt, MO, Kathy Scusa (Brian) of North Platte, Cynthi Hartsuiker (Randy) of Big Springs, NE, Teresa Morland (Mike) of Paxton and Mark Gifford (Teresa) of Lincoln, NE; his sister Lila Lewis of Columbus, NE; his mother-in-law Gladys Nelson of North Platte; and his siblings-in-law, Stan Nelson (Roseann) of Longwood, FL, June Gifford of Grand Junction, CO, Hazel Gifford of North Platte and Margaret Gifford of Paxton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
