She was predeceased by: her parents, Lod Janousek and Josephine Janousek (Rathovic); and her siblings, Martha Beckwith (Joe) and George Janousek (Gerry). She is survived by: her brother-in-law Joe; her children, Mike Schmit (Lexie) of York, Ron Schmit (Eileen) of O'Neill, Regina Kafka (Joe) of Valley Springs and Don Schmit (Holly) of Aurora; her grandchildren, Collin Schmit (Ashley), Adrienne Synovec (Mike), Travis Schmit (Molly), Stephanie Clark (Lee), Joe Kafka (Tia), Stacy Lavigne (Todd), Jenna Vettel (Tyler) and Kristen (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Brecken, Oakley, Whitley, Chandler, Eden, Ava, Andrew, Alex, Gavin, Aiden, Avery, Cooper and Gracelyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
