Richard Mundy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 71, Richard Mundy (Omaha, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mundy and Marie LeGault (Wood). He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Parpas (Gus), Margaret Hageman (Jim), Patty Mundy and Annie Bombardo (John). He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Leo Catholic Church (1920 N 102nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A wake will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project or D.A.V.
