He was predeceased by: his children, John and Mary; and his parents, Thomas McGinnis and Magdalyn McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Jeffrey, Kathleen Cogan (Adam) and Michael McGinnis (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Vaughn, Molly, Kate, Charlotte and Patrick; and his siblings, Suzanne Collier, Mary Jo Hemmer and Michael McGinnis (Karen).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (1920 N 102nd St, Omaha, NE 68114, USA). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Leo's, Creighton Prep, or Food Bank for the Heartland.
