She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos McCollum and Helen McCollum (Houpt); her husband Edwin James Hopken; her children, Mike and Cindy; and her siblings, Frank, Dale and Jackie.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Schulz (Dennis) of Paxton, Rod Hopken (Jackie) of Ogallala, Terry Hopken (Ada) of Ogallala and Kathy Brott (Wendell) of Gothenburg; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Holscher (Larry) of Ogallala; her grandchildren, Nick Holscher (Kristen) of Tennessee, Stacy Holscher (Caesar) of Paraguay, Zane Holscher (Mindy) of Florida, Michelle Hopken of Sutherland, JoAnna Markiewicz (Rick), TJ Hopken of Georgia, Luke Hopken (Stephanie) of Georgia, Syd Marie Rundback (Bryce) of Stapleton, Devin Hallett (George) of Paxton, Cooper Brott of Gothenburg, Matt Hopken of Colorado and Kari Cumbie (Chris) of North Platte; and her great grandchildren, Colin Hopken, Zeb Gregory, Carlos Holscher, Viviani Holscher, Michael Holscher, Alexander Markiewicz, Rowan Markiewicz, Harper Markiewicz, Bailey Hopken, Savannah Hopken and Hiro Hopken.
