He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Sherich and Maud Sherich (Shinn); and his siblings, Glen, Burt, Dale Sherich, Jean Proctor and Norma Sherich.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sherich; his son Kelly Sherich (Teri) of Ogallala; his brother Bob Sherich (Lorraine) of Yuma, AZ; his granddaughter Kelsey Rivers (Nick); his great grandchildren, Mila of Chattanooga, TN and Rosalind Rivers of Chattanooga, TN; and his close friends, Preston, Alex Tuttle, Richard, Shirley and Ogallala Grandparents.
A memorial has been established to the Senior Citizens Center in Ogallala in his memory. 202 W 1st St, Ogallala, NE 69153.
