He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Froehlich and Dorothy Froehlich (Seegebarth); his son Guy Mathew Froehlich; his siblings, Melvin "Bud" Froehlich and Leola Froehlich; his brother-in-law Milton Raasch; his daughter-in-law Cindy Froehlich; and his mother-in-law Lucille Wingate.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Froehlich (Hladovcak); his former spouses, Janice Clark, Rick Froehlich (Lynette) and Jean Hopkins (Jim); his stepchildren, Scott Herbolsheimer (Michelle), Holly Reeves (Todd), Kelly Pachunka (Chris) and Kristy Lamb (Sean); his sister Lois Raasch; his sister-in-law Marian Hubble; and also Chris Asbury. He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
