He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Wentworth and Ruth Wentworth; and his sister Betty Lou Blomberg. He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Maitland; his wife Helen Hingst; his children, Susan Roach (Gene), Jim Wentworth (Mary), Carolyn Harder (Brad), Al Hingst (Martha) and Karla Frey; and his grandchildren, Seth, Zach, Abby, Kathie, Michael, Skylar, Andrew, Trisha, Trudie, Ben, Brent and Angi. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many spouses and numerous friends.
