He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hansen and Nina Hansen (Taylor); his sons, Keith and Jeff Hansen; his siblings, Norman Hansen and Arlene Posvar; and his nephew Dennis Neisius.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Kominek; his children, Steven Hansen of Norfolk, Denise Borgmann (Mark) of Lincoln and Vicky Wiedeman of Norfolk; his sister Myrna Neisius of Norfolk; and his grandchildren, Audra Kruse (Tim), Amanda Peters, Amber Hansen-Moore (Tommy), Jennifer McLaughlin (Dustin), Annette Hansen, Nicole Peck (Dallas Mettler), Dezarae Hansen, Krystal Hansen, Andrew Wiedeman (Becca Armstrong), Kasey Hansen and Tia Hansen.
