He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis McCabe and Mary McCabe (Manley); his brothers, Bill and Tom; his son-in-law Jerry Sydow; and his grandson Ryan Sydow.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Kneifl; and his children, Julie Sydow (Kevin Dohma) of Ponca, NE, Nancy Walsh (Tom) of Ponca, NE, Dick McCabe (Nita) of Emerson, NE and Tom McCabe (Shelly) of Vermillion, SD. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
