We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2021, at the age of 93, Eleanor L. Thomsen of Minden, Nebraska, born in Hildreth, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor L. Thomsen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell Thomsen; her daughter Marti Thomsen; her siblings, John "Bud" Hollenbeck (Carol), Geneive Leapold (Floyd), Martha "Sis" Barnett (Richard), Jean Hrelja (Frank) and Gayle Correll; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Philips and Duane "Ted" Schroder.
She is survived by: her siblings, Loyd F. and Edna F. Hollenbeck (Merithew); her children, Bruce Thomsen (Carla) of Holdrege, Roxanne Lush (John) of Holdrege and Elizabeth Deisley of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Georgia Lee (Boe) of Lincoln, Heather Melroy (Troy) of Holdrege, Lisa Vineyard (Lee) of Holdrege, Jason Deisley (Becki) of Crete, Brandon Palmer (Joyce) of Wilbur, Nebraska, Jake Thomsen (Julie) of Kearney and Ellie Schroeder (Seth) of Kearney; and her sisters, Gwen Schroder of Northglenn, Colorado and Claudia Philips of Bertrand, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Eleanor's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
