He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Gotchall and Norma Gotchall (Struthers); his son-in-law Jason Karg; his brother-in-law Les Wilhelm (Lee Wilhelm); and also, Don and Beth Wilhelm.
He is survived by: his son Jason (Jennifer Gotchall) of Roseville, CA; his wife Sandra Wilhelm; his child Kristyl Karg of San Ramon, CA; his grandchildren, Haley, Reese, Kamryn, Kaden Gotchall and Averi Karg; his sisters, Roberta Blake (Dale) of Danbury, NE and Claudia Stanton (Dick) of Cambridge, NE; his sister-in-law Ann Doyle (Ed) of McCook, NE; and his daughter Jody Bennett (Tom). He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
He lovingly cared for Sandra for years after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and eventually lost the ability to walk.
