It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Lynn Childers (Maxwell, Nebraska), born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on November 4, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Micheal O'Rourke and Sylvia O'Rourke (Dike); and her stepparents, Mike, Opal O'Rourke, Barney and Sylvia Bollish.
She is survived by: her former husband Michael Childers; her husband Mike of Maxwell; her children, Tanya (Dewain), Lindsey (Adam) and Eric Hendrickson (Scott); her grandchildren, Jacob "Cole", Makenna, Adysen Ruppert, Hannah Daniels and Rowan Hendrickson; and her siblings, Cheyrl Childers (Ron) of Olathe, KS and Rourke of Ogallala, NE.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Connie's name to the L2 for Kids, with a mission to increase a child's self-esteem and sense of well-being by providing new clothes and shoes to school aged children.
