He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Blodgett and Verna Blodgett (Bacon); his wife Cheryl Fread; his son Rick; and his brother Marvin Blodgett, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Pat, Cherie Lynn Payton-Bourbon of Fredricktown, Shelly Allen (Mitch) of Hershey, Laurie Bauer (Barry) of Lexington, Patrick Payton of Litchfield and Crystal Blodgett; his daughter-in-law Dorrine Blodgett; his siblings, Kenneth Blodgett (Susan) of Egbert, Colorado, Jackie Robirds of Delta and Sharon Hite (Don) of Cozad; his sister-in-law Paula Blodgett of Lexington; and his parent-in-law De Bourbon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
