He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Irwin and Velma M. Irwin (Jarous); his wives, Donna L. Scott and Joyce (Bernth); his brother Jerry Irwin; his siblings-in-law, Daniel Jacobsen and Paulette Irwin; and his granddaughter Jamie Grandon.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Jimmie Grandon (Nancy) of Lexington and Timothy Grandon (Ezell) of Grand Island; his daughters, Teresa Reinerston of Lexington, Tammy Jurgensen (Ron) of Hastings and Catherine Miller (Jerry) of Lexington; his siblings, David Irwin (Gayle) of Fremont, Sandra Jacobson of Omaha and Beth Powers (Bob) of Charleston, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Irwin of Lincoln and Charlene "Kay" Edson (Michael) of Redding, CA.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
