He was predeceased by: his parents, John Borges and Fern Borges (Mount); his brother Glen; and his son-in-law Les Robertson. He is survived by: his former wife Norma Jacobs; his sons, Bill (Sara Borges) of Kearney and Dan (Lynn Borges) of Kearney; his significant other Ellen Noe of Lexington; his daughter Susan Robertson (Jesse Starke) of Loveland, Colorado; his grandchildren, Craig (Amber Dedic) of Scottsbluff and Amy (Jeremy Grace); his siblings, John (Beth Borges) of Chadron, Andrew (Janyce Borges) of Sidney, Joyce Borges of Cottonwood, AZ., Jeanette Borges of Oshkosh and Julia Davison (Lyn) of Cochise; his sister-in-law Virgina Borges of Vernal, Utah; his grandchildren, Janet, Lisa, Mark, Katrina, Mike, Matt and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Rannon, Cole, Lincoln, Chase, Stella, Logan and Jackson; and also, Dax, Trey and Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
