He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Otis and Anna Frieda Augusta Ward (Camin); his siblings, Donald Ward and Mary Ann Ward; his daughter-in-law Nancy Wescott; his brothers, Collen (John Caldwell), J. R. (Ann Hanson) and Jim (Bev Hanson); and his parents-in-law, Howard and Marie Hanson.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law John Caldwell; his wife Sherilyn Ward of Alma, Nebraska; his children, Steven Ward of Omaha and Susanne Janssen (Gary) of Alma; his grandchildren, Blaine Janssen (Allison) of Alma, Brent Janssen (Brooke Hough) of Alma and Brandie Bland (Troy) of Grand Island; and his sister-in-law Mary Ward of Bloomington, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family and friends.
