It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ford J. Hubbard of Lexington, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elihu Hubbard and Ethel May Hubbard (Purdy); his stepfather Albert Nelson; his wife Vera Hubbard; his siblings, Eunice Hubbard, Laura Hubbard, Betty Swanson (Francis), Flossie Green (Keith) and Don Hubbard (Dorothy); his brother-in-law Lloyd Steinbrink; and his nephews, Bruce Swanson and Gary Hubbard.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Hubbard (Kaylon) of Kearney and Sue Underwood of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Nigel York (Gregory) of San Antonio, Levi Hubbard (Cheska) of Elm Creek, Seth Hubbard (Rebecca) of Axtell, Nebraska, Thadd Hubbard (Ashley) of Kearney, Jazzmyn Martin (Tony) of Elm Creek, Trev Hubbard of Kearney and David Underwood (Jessica) of Rapid City; and his siblings, June Steinbrink of Holdrege and Delano Nelson of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ford's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
