He is survived by: his mother Marian Berke (Courkamp) of Lexington; his children, Sarah Taubenheim (Jeremy) of Riverdale, NE, Ted of Elwood and Madison of Scottsdale, AZ; his brothers, Tom of Glenwood, IA and Mitch (Jackie) of Elwood; his girlfriend Mari Hock-Arnold of Mesa, AZ; his grandsons, Jax and Cam Taubenheim; and his nieces and nephews, Michaela Saatman (Tyler) of Grand Island, Molly Kopf (Blake) of Yankton, SD, Abby Berke of Glenwood, IA, Joe Berke (Paige) of Colorado Springs, CO, Pat Berke of Raleigh, NC and Ben Berke of Glenwood, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and great nieces and nephews.
