With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Katherina Rickertsen of Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cobus Stevens and Emma Stevens; her husband Chris; and her son-in-law Dave Hirschfeld. She is survived by: her children, Linda Hirschfeld of Lincoln, Carma Ewer (Galen) of Sandy, Bryan Rickertsen (Marleen) of Lincoln and Bruce Rickertsen (Julie) of Lexington. She is also survived by 12 grand-children, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons.
