He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lukassen and Martha Lukassen (Vandenberg); his daughter Mary; and his siblings, Marjorie, Howard and Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Lukassen of Kimball, NE; his children, Debbie Kelley (Mike), Dennis Lukassen (Carol), Doug Lukassen (Darin Lukassen) and Diane Wasser (Don Lukassen) of Lincoln, NE; and his sisters, Karen Moody and Glenda Elwood. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in Wayne's memory to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or the Kimball VFW Memorial Wall Fund.
