She was predeceased by: her parents, John Koster and Edna Koster (Ellerbroek); her husband Edward L Garrett; and her brothers, Les Koster and Marvin Koster.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Bourlier (Terry) of Kimball, NE., Kelly Garrett (Nancy) of Kimball, NE. and Dode Juelfs (Dallen) of Lincoln, NE; her siblings, Deane Koster (Linda) of Wahoo, NE, Marilyn Tatum (Tom) of Platte, SD and Bonnie Tatum of Winner, SD; and her grandchildren, Ryan Bourlier (Ruth), Mallory Lantzer (Chris), Tyler Garrett (Angie), Stacy Burback (Ryan), Ross Juelfs (Megan Beach), Danni Wilmetti (Brad) and RaeLynn Juelfs. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 Virus, family only graveside service will be held.

Memorials may be given in her memory to either St. John's Lutheran Church, Kimball Hospital Foundation or the Kimball County Manor Resident Fund.
