She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lukassen and Martha Lukassen (Vandenberg); her son Mark; her granddaughter Kate Shaw (Bob Elwood); and her siblings, Dale, Howard, Wayne and Marjorie Lukassen.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Ray Rhodes and Chuck Parsons; her husband Bob Elwood; her children, Dixie Bomberger (David), Mike Parsons (Carolyn), Cary Parsons (Joanne), Kim Knight (Tom), Todd Parsons (Lisa), Shelly Christensen (Norm), Kimberly Parsons, Jay Parsons (Geri), Scott Parsons (Tara), Patrick Parsons (Robin), Paul Parsons (Mary) and Jill Czufin (Doug); her stepchildren, Emily Zasadil (Russ) and Don Elwood (Janet); and her sister Karen Moody. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in her memory to Vista Villa.
