It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Evangeline Yung of Kimball, Nebraska, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Petersen and Laura Petersen (Neilsen); her husband Edward Yung; her son Merton Jay; her siblings, Paul, Miles, Andy, Bryce, Lois, Mildred and Erma; and her siblings-in-law, Venice, Dorothy, Mildred, Fern Dell, Don Yung and Hugh Frohbieter.
She is survived by: her sister Hazel Peterson; and her children, Roy Yung (Betty) of Idaho Falls, ID., Orin Yung (Gwen) of Torrington, WY., Curtis Yung (Jeanie) of Post Falls, ID and Jane Theobald of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
