He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Strauch and Hilda Strauch (Kammersgaard); and his granddaughter Faith Heider. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ellen Gudgel; his children, Ruth Ann Wong of Justin, TX, Candace Doran (Christopher) of Plattsmouth, Dr. Joel Strauch (Dawn) of New Brighton, MN, Mary Kemling of Grand Island and Debra Heider (Steve) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Heather, Jasmine, Kaleb, Katie, David, Keenan, Jeremiah and Summer; and his great grandchildren, Russell, Jade, Alexander and Ren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church or Heartland High School.
