It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald C. Schmidt (Howells, Nebraska), born in Russell Springs, Kansas, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Schmidt and Evalyn Schmidt (Wood); his wife Phyllis Rupprecht; and his children, Mike Schmidt (Mary Finch) of Fremont, Lori Meiergerd of West Point, Sue Wragge (Kevin) of Howells, Steve Schmidt (Jodene) of Dodge and David Schmidt of Howells. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
