He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Jacob and Lorene M. Stewart (Smith); his wife Barbara A. Montague; and his children, Stephen and Alesia.
He is survived by: his children, William, Steve, Billy (Linda) of Bigfork Montana, John (Jolie) of Chadron, Mary Schnell (Steve Wolters) of Blackhawk, Bernadette Marquardt (Steve) of Cedaredge, Tony (Montana) of Great Falls and Bridget Burkhart (Tony) of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
