Maxine Currey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021, at the age of 101, Maxine Currey of Hebron, Nebraska, born in Burchard, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Pepperl and J. C. Pepperl; her husband Myron Currey; her son Ted William; her sisters, Betty Schafer and Patty Timmerman; and also, Margaret Paul, Bess Harmon and Clinton Currey.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Meerse; her daughter-in-law Diane Currey; her sister-in-law Gladys Johnson; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Frazier (Mike), Carmen Zalman (Mike), Richard Currey (Socorro), Katherine Meerse (David Woodard) and John Meerse (Stephanie); and also Omaha. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
After the onset of the pandemic, she missed attending services there.
