It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Shea of Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shea and Sylvia Shea (Joines); his wife Lois Ann Buss; his brother Jerry Shea; and his parents-in-law, Elvin Buss and Imogene Buss.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Thomas Shea; his siblings, Robert Shea (Madonna) of Alexandria, VA., James "Tweet" Shea of Holdrege, NE., Bill Shea of Fremont, NE., Lisa Hendricksen (George) of Cozad, NE., Amy Oxford of Broken Bow, NE. and Sally Schumaker (Paul) of Omaha, NE.; and his siblings-in-law, Jolene Shea of Galt, CA, Cindy Finnegan (Dan) of Cozad, NE and Tim Buss (Kim) of Cozad, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association, Gothenburg Trap Team, or Central Plains Home Health and Hospice.
