He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Gerald; his wife Connie; his children, Paul Slack and Anita Jones (Mike Jones); his grandchildren, Danielle Tien (Austin), Dakota Slack, Sydney Jones and Aiden Jones; his siblings, Donna Hazen, Dean Slack (Pam) and Gene Slack; his parents, Gerald Slack and Ina Slack; and his brother Gary Slack.

Ron listened and applied the teachings from his life line of churches, Banner Methodist, Gothenburg Methodist, and Callaway Community church, these coupled with Christ's love laid a powerful foundation of his Christian walk.
