With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Jorgensen of Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on September 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Benjamin Yonkers and Lucy Delia Yonkers (Brownell); and her sisters, Maxine Nichols, Ceone Farmer, Joan Housman and Dorothy Jean.
She is survived by: her brother Carl; her sisters-in-law, Muriel Yonkers of Maywood, Carolyn "Sus" Peden of Gothenburg, Shirley Yonkers of Maywood and Betty Yonkers of McCook; her children, Brad Jorgensen (Janell) of Elkhorn, Ross Jorgensen (Julie) of Bakersfield and Rana Williamson (Keith) of Gothenburg; her grandchildren, Jamie O'Donnell (Brian) of Lincoln, Jeremy Jorgensen (Emily) of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Heath Carranza (Lindsey) of Omaha, Chris Carranza (Jessica) of Omaha, Alyssa Lucas (Casey) of Oakhurst, Ashley Jorgensen, Amy Ferris (Jay) of Bloomington, Indiana, Cory Williamson (Anna) of Lincoln and Zane Williamson (Amanda) of Kearney; her brothers, George Yonkers and Cletus Darwin "Darky" Yonkers; and her husband Jerry Jorgensen. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
