It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn A Burkhalter of Gothenburg, Nebraska, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dale A. Burkhalter; her father-in-law Arthur Burkhalter (Merle); and her brothers-in-law, Loren Burkhalter, Earl Burkhalter and Paul Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Burkhalter (Sharilyn) of Johnson Lake, David Burkhalter (Fabienne) of Elsie, Andrew Burkhalter (Frances) of Scottsbluff and Sarah Anderson (Michael) of Gothenburg; her brother Gale Elliott (Sharon) of Vail, Arizona; and her siblings-in-law, Lela Burkhalter of Creston, Mary Louise Edwards of Greenwood, Phyllis Burkhalter of Creston, Lucinda Burkhalter of Chariton, Iowa and Harold Burkhalter of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
