She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Hopkins and Josephine Hopkins (Lichtenberger); her husband Glenn Barnes; her siblings, Alice Barnes, Marjorie Hanson English and Leslie Hopkins; and her granddaughter Stephanie Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Glenna Jean Whipple (Tom) of Arapahoe, NE, Janice L. Viter (Doug) of Gothenburg, NE, Karla S. Pearson (Mike) of Crystal City, MO, Charlene Martin (Bob) of Broken Bow, NE and Darrell E. Barnes (Kathy) of Newman Grove, NE. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
