He was predeceased by: his parents, Reford Holt and Rosa Holt; his wife Brenda Holt; his brother Roy Holt; his father-in-law Ueal Gay; his sisters-in-law, Mimi Holt and Sherri Gay; and his nephew Todd Holt.
He is survived by: his children, Rusty Holt (Kay) of Lincoln, NE and Shellie Rossell of Gothenburg, NE; his mother-in-law Ila Faye Gay of Alex; his brothers, Dan Holt (Leta) of Chickasha, OK and Mac Holt (LaFonda) of Oklahoma City, OK; his siblings-in-law, Linda Ray of Childress, TX, Randy Gay of Alex, OK and Marlon Gay (Janice) of Duncan, OK; his grandchildren, Tyson Holt, Jordan Rossell, Taress Meier (Steven), Alyssa Holt and Taylor Schmeitt (Chad); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Collin, Grayli, Brooklyn and Landon; and his close friend Jo Johnson. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Nebraska Appaloosa Horse Club or the Gothenburg Volunteer Fire Department.
