It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty McPheeters of Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosina Lora (Billeter) and John Henry Kaufman; her sisters, Nina Rummell (John) and Nola Wahlgren (Kenneth); her son Matthew Kirk McPheeters; and also, Margaret Pearl (Grady) and Ira David McPheeters.
She is survived by: her husband Burton Dale McPheeters; her children, Marcy Ann, Kay Lynnette, Britt Ira, Scott Bradford and Julie Rose; her stepchildren, Kay Robbins (Vernon) of Grand Island, NE, Britt McPheeters (Cynthia) of Bradenton, FL, Scott McPheeters (Patricia) of Gothenburg and Julie Gamble (Keith) of Wellesley, MA.; her great grandchildren, Sean Hill (Megan), Charity Leonard (Grey), James Hill (Audrey) of Charlotte, NC, Gabriel Robbins of Tustin, CA, Abigail Stahmer (Hendrik), Benjamin Robbins of Pasadena, Sara Robbins of Omaha, NE, John "Jake" Mc Pheeters of Birmingham, AL, Kaitlin Sparkman (Will) of Birmingham, AL, Margaret "Maggie" McPheeters of Birmingham, AL and Clark McPheeters (Bryn); and also, Samuel, Jedidiah, Geneva of Seattle, Ford, Zephyr of Dallas, TX, Noah, Elizabeth of Hamburg, Germany, Dior, Lux, Crew, Leigh Sukraw (Ryan), Owen, Warren, Kerry McPheeters (Karlie), Kallen, Holly Williams (Caleb), Oliver of Gothenburg, NE, Liam, Enya, Neev and Finn Gamble of Wellesley, MA.. She is also survived by five children, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many special nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Pandemic safety guidelines include wearing face coverings and observing at least six feet of distance between households.
Memorials may be given to the Banner United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
