She was predeceased by: her parents, William Peterson and Agnes Peterson; her former husband Ken; and her brother Harold Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Etherton; her daughters, Koya Kreft (Garnold) of Cozad, NE, Ginger Gies (Craig) of Lincoln, NE and Holly Ballmer (Mark) of Gothenburg, NE; her grandchildren, Kaleb Kreft (Amanda) of Portland, OR, Rachel Franklin (Gregory) of Murfreesboro, TN, Luke Ballmer (Jenna) of Kearney, Brooke Kendle (Josh) of Lincoln, Olivia Gies of Lincoln and Madison Gies of Minneapolis, MN; and her great grandchildren, Greyson of Lincoln, Jaxson of Lincoln, Briar and Collins of Kearney.

Memorials may be given to the Cornerstone Bible Church.
