He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Gibbens and Nellie Mabel Gibbens (Ackerman); and his wife Verda M. Gibbens. He is survived by: his children, Tom Gibbens (Denise) of Cozad, Pam Laird (Tom) of Cozad, Tim Gibbens (Becky) of Gothenburg and Jennifer Poggendorf (Shannon) of Kearney; and his siblings, Janeane Gibbens of Sargent, NE, Shirley Young of Taylor, NE and Danny Gibbens of Sargent, NE. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
