He was predeceased by: his father Martin Fickenscher (Thorell); his wife Lois "Maxine" Fickenscher; and his siblings, Marlene Feddersen and Irvin Stanard. He is survived by: his children, Tom Fickenscher (Cindy) of Gothenburg, NE, Tim Fickenscher (Carol Windrum) of Omaha, NE and Nancy Gerrard (John) of Lincoln, NE; and his brother Gayland Fickenscher. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
