He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schwartz and Mildred Schwartz (Faller); his sister Helene Lawrence; and his son Marc Paul. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hinton of Falls City; his son David (Brenda) of Topeka; his brother Hank (Marcia) of Falls City; and his grandchildren, Jacob of Topeka and Olivia of Topeka.
He donated many gallons of blood over the years to the American Red Cross.
