She was predeceased by: her father Walter Morehead; her spouse Dearle B. Whitten; and her siblings, Nadine, Donald, Marvin and Vincel.

She is survived by: her son Dr. Terry; her granddaughter Traci Ayres (Dave); and her great grandchildren, Lily, Lexi and Lydia.
