He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Barb Mauslein (Biff) and Christy Sankey (Matt); his brother Byron (Janice) of Custer, SD; his stepgrandsons, Jacob and Dane Mauslein; his niece Julie Shafer; and his nephew Mike Marteny of Falls City.
