It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Kopetzky of Falls City, Nebraska, born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marfice and Helen Marfice (Stanczyk); her husband William Kopetzky; her sons, Daniel and Steven; and her siblings, Don, Richard, William, Paul, Denny Marfice, Eleanor Harper, Louise Spencer, Joyce Neito and Liz Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory (Veronica) of Longmont, CO, Jon (Linda) of Olympia, WA and David (Deneise) of Bremerton, WA; her daughter-in-law Bridget Kopetzky of Bowie, MD; her brother Norman Marfice of Omaha; her grandchildren, Justin, Christiana, Brian, Brandon, Nicole, Benjamin, Megan, Cassandra, Jennifer, Caitrin, Ashley and Collin; and her great grandchildren, Anya, Cora, Quinn, Daniel, Stephen, William and Emily. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Retired Teachers Association, American Heart Association and Red Hat Society.
