He is survived by: his former wife Carol Nickelson; his children, Heather McQueen of Chicago, IL and Robert (Olivia) of New York; his granddaughter Lilly; his great grandchild Oliver; and his siblings, Nancy Kommer (Peter) of LaVista, NE, Barry (Rita) of Lawrence, KS, Jay (Martha) of Dodge City, KS and Jon (Teresa) of Falls City, NE. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
