With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia R. Tenopir (Crete, Nebraska), who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rejcha and Alice Stastny Rejcha; her husband Robert Tenopir of Crete; her daughter Betty Ann; and her sisters, Evelyn and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, John of Lincoln, NE, Jeanette Galliardt of Marlborough, MA and Teresa Unruh (Gary) of Newton, KS; her grandchildren, Laura Moulton (David) of Auburn, MA, Michael Galliardt of Worcester, MA, Lisa Dick (Ward) of Newton, KS and Kristin Nolan (Alex) of Shelby Township, MI; her great grandchildren, Thomas Merrill Moulton of Auburn, MA, Mackenzie Dick, Jocelyn Dick and Hunter; and her siblings, LaVerne Johnston (Harry) of Lincoln, NE and Milo Rejcha (Alice) of Lincoln.
Memorials may be given to UNL Czech Language Foundation or to the American Iris Society, in lieu of flowers.
