It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Brown of Cozad, Nebraska, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Brown to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Violet, Viola, Josie, Alberta, Nettie, Howard and Rollie; and his grandchildren, Creighton Hamburger, Addison and Scarlett Stumpf.
He is survived by: his pet Bookie; his wife Elaine J Brown of Cozad, NE; his children, Anthony Brown (Monica), Paul Brown (Tommie), Youl Brown (Callie), Maria Hamburger (Bill), Charlotte Stumpf (Don) and Patty Jo Bice (Kevin); and his brothers, Charles and Harold Brown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the City of Cozad parks department for the park where John loved to spend time with his dog Bookie.
