He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Raeburn and Betty LaRae Puryear (Jenkins); his grandparents, Gerald, Bethel Shadduck and Herman (Effie Puryear); his son Gerald Jr.; and his brothers, Ray Eldridge and Chuck Eldridge.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Jo (Josiah Lacy) of Gothenburg, NE and Jeremy L'Amour (Adina Puryear) of Farmers Branch; his former wife Rhonda Harris; his stepfather William Slack, Jr. (Rhonda) of Brady; his stepchildren, Jake Gilland of North Platte, NE, Gary White of Texas, Lori (Chris Berglund) of North Platte, NE, Christy White, Misty Eaves of Texas and Lisa White of Ohio; and his siblings, Doris, Joseph "Jay" (Maria) of Hanahan, Gary (Jami Roeder) of North Platte and Twenty. He is also survived by Twenty-two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two more great-grandchildren.
