She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J Bennett and Alta Bennett (Lewis); her husband Bob Cornelius; and her siblings, Robert, Dave and Katherine.
She is survived by: her sister Diana Simer (Larry) of Murray, UT; her children, Jeff Cornelius (Susie) of Cozad, Dan Cornelius (Derry) of Cozad, Dave Cornelius (Deb) of Lincoln, Lisa Cornelius of Bellingham, WA and Smokey Cornelius (Deb) of Cozad; her grandchildren, Erin, Megan, Brynn, Daniel, Haley, Jack, Molly and Abby; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Dodson, Maddux and Nora; and her friend Michelle Pinkelman.
She was inducted into the Cozad Hospital Foundation Healthcare Hall of Fame in 2004.
