He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bertsch and Nettie Bertsch; and his siblings, Velma Jessop and Charlie Bertsch (Elaine Bertsch). He is survived by: his wife Elaine McAllister; his children, Deb DiToro (Nick) of York and Kent Bertsch (Janet) of Granger, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Tim), Troy DiToro (Sarah), Nicole Winterrowd (Travis), Eric Bertsch and Josh Bertsch (Brooke).
