He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Barelmann and Evelyn Barelmann (Marx); and his wife Sharon Barelmann. He is survived by: his former spouse Valedine Koehler; his children, Pamela, Scott Barelmann (Randi) of Blue Springs, MO, Mark Barelmann (Tammy) of Chambers, NE, Brian Barelmann (Deb) of O'Neill and Pam Barelmann of Wayne, NE; his grandchildren, Kara Gregory (Wes), Kayla Barelmann, Brandon Barelmann, Brett Barelmann (Kylee), Brienna Cameron (Jason), Brooke Dexter (Levi), Brian Barelmann (April), Dani Schueth (Brock) and Matteah Barelmann; his siblings, Don Barelmann of Wisner, NE and Carol Gross (Ken) of Carlsbad, CA; and his close friend Arline Oliver of Omaha, NE.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Bethany Presbyterian Church or to the Holt County Farm Bureau Scholarship fund.
